Frequently Asked Questions
How Do I Know If Your Functional Approach Is Right For Me?
All new patients start with a very through consultation and examination. We evaluate you from a neurological standpoint and a metabolic standpoint. Only after we determine the contributing factors to your pain, burning, and numbness do we fully accept a patient into our program.
Our number one concern is phenomenal outcomes for patients and if we accept your case it is because we feel that you have a great chance of having a good functional change in your condition. If the doctor does not feel that you will clinically be a good candidate for this type of treatment, he will let you know on your second visit. This is the reason why we offer 2 complementary visits for prospective patients. See our 2 Complementary Visits Program.
Do The Treatments Have Side-Effects?
Our protocols are drug-free and have no side-effects. Our goal is to uncover the hidden mechanisms that are contributing to your symptoms, and work to functionally change those. FAQ.
What About The Medications That I Am Currently Taking?
Dr. Yang will never tell you to stop taking your medications. That’s called practicing medicine without a license. Getting off medications is a goal of most patients. As you progress with the care program you will have opportunity to return to the doctor who prescribes your medications and work with them to adjust them down if your clinical scenario warrants it.
Why Do We Offer 2 Complementary Visits? Is There Really No Charge?
Our Institute is committed to helping as many neuropathy patients as humanly possible. He has created a way for prospective new patients to have a free case review and evaluation to determine how suitable each individual is for his care. This takes away the risk of paying for an assessment and then discovering that you would not be a good candidate. It is his way of giving back to the local neuropathy community and allow you to feel safe coming in and making sure that this is the the correct approach for you.
Does Your Office Take My Insurance?
Every insurance plan works differently. We will perform a complementary benefits check and advise you of any coverage or limitations of coverage before any care is initiated.
What Is The Cost of Treatment?
Because we take a truly individual approach it is impossible to determine the cost of care until we determine exactly what is required in your case.
